After graduating with my Master’s Degree in Printmaking

from a university in East Tennessee and moving to a

much warmer client with my husband, I launched

Thistleberry Press in Killeen, Texas. I was a short drive

from Austin, the city that first afforded me the opportunity

to fall in love with letterpress printing. One class

and I was hooked! I then spent the next year

searching for old type cabinets and presses and

was lucky enough to find my Vandercook late 2005.

Built in 1954, it’s simply the most beautiful piece

of machinery I’ve ever seen. And weighing in at

about 1100 lbs., it’s the largest love of my life!

With my background in fine art printing, I look at each commission as a work of art.

I truly enjoy my job. I enjoy hearing the excitement in a bride's voice when it’s just

perfect. It’s great being a part of someone's special day and giving them something

they will treasure for years to come. I love designing a custom piece that is completely

unique to the client.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or ideas you may have. I would

love the opportunity to design something special just for you!

Thanks for your interest in Thistleberry Press!
